You should know about Bayvantitic Vet for dogs of 4-10 kg
Bayvantitic is a medicine in hand purchase to prevent and treat attacks from ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, sand flies and stingflies on dogs. Also dealing with fur lice on dog. Bayvantic is also suitable for treatment against flea allergy. The product has both a repellent (anti-blood-sucking) and a killing effect on ticks, mosquitoes, sand flies and plume flies. This prevents parasites from sucking blood and reduces the risk of disease transmission (e.g. Borreliosis, Leishmaniosis, TBE - tick-transmitted encephalitis).

Bayvantitic is a spot-on product in pipettes and is given directly on the skin of the neck and on the back of the dog. Bayvantitic quickly spreads over the entire dog's surface without going in the blood. The product works as soon as the parasites come into contact with the dog's fur or skin.

Bayvantitic works fully as early as 24 hours after treatment of the dog. Bayvantic Vet is a combination of imidacloprid and permethrin for treatment against fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. Fleets are scared away, fleas and larvae are killed, and mosquitoes are kept at a distance.

Fleas in pipettes are most often applied in the neck, so your dog cannot lick the product off. The product usually works within 12-48 hours. Be aware to purchase a product specifically intended for dogs or cats, with the correct weight class, so that your pet is properly covered. Bayvantitic ® vet. spot-on solution for dog. 1 ml contains 100 mg imidacloprid and 500 mg permethrin.

Indications:
For the treatment and prevention of flea infestations for 4 weeks. The preparation may be used as part of the treatment strategy for flea allergic dermatitis. For treatment of fur lice. The preparation has a sustained acaricide and repellating ("antiblood ') effect against tick infestations for up to 4 weeks. Reduces the probability of ehrlichiosis from day 3 after treatment and up to 4 weeks. It is recommended to remove ticks before treatment is performed. A treatment has repellating effects on sandflies for up to 3 weeks, mosquitoes for up to 4 weeks, and ordinary spitflies for 4 weeks. Reduces the risk of infection with leishmania infantum from sandflies for up to 3 weeks. There may be fortification of individual ticks or connectors from individual sandflies or mosquitoes.

Contraindications:
Do not use in cats. Puppies under 7 weeks and 1.5 kg should not be treated. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

Warnings and precautions:
Do not use in cats as it is highly toxic to them. Cats must not lick the application site of the treated dog. Seek a veterinarian immediately. Do not allow recently treated dogs to lick each other. Avoid contact of the pipette contents with eyes or mouth on the dog. Dogs treated to reduce the risk of infection with Leishmania infantum via sandflies should be kept in a protected environment for the first 24 hours after the first dose is applied. Consult with the veterinarian before treating sick and debilitated dogs. Treated animals should be used with caution until the application site is dry. Newly treated animals should not be allowed to sleep with their owners / children. Do not take the product. Wash your hands thoroughly after use. The preparation is harmful to aquatic organisms and treated animals should not come into contact with surface water for the first 48 hours. The solvent in Bayvantic can cause stains on certain materials, so let the liquid dry before contact. Read the package leaflet for further information.

Adverse reactions:
Itching and influence on fur (e.g. greasy fur) at the application site and vomiting. In rare cases, reactions such as flushing, inflammation and hair loss at the application site and diarrhoea. Very rarely, transient skin reactions (e.g. itching, scratching and rubbing) and drowsiness have been observed. These reactions usually disappear on their own. Dogs may show behavioural changes, gastrointestinal symptoms and neurological reactions if the dog is sensitive to permethrin. Symptoms are usually transient and require no treatment.

Pregnancy and lactation:
Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Dosage:
For skin use only.

Dogs
1,5 - 4 kg: 1 pipette of 0,4 ml
4 kg - 10 kg: 1 pipette of 1,0 ml
10 kg - 25 kg: 1 pipette of 2.5 ml
25 kg - 40 kg: 1 pipette of 4.0 ml
40 kg - 60 kg: 1 pipette of 6.0 ml.
For dogs & gt; 60 kg, a suitable combination of pipettes is used.

The solution is distributed on the skin of the back from the shoulder blades to the tail root. To wash the dog with shampoo, do this before applying Bayvantitic or at least 2 weeks later. Treatment against fur lice should be performed by the veterinarian after 30 days, as an additional dose may be necessary. For protection throughout the season for sandflies, care should be taken throughout the period.

Packs:
Packs of 4 pipettes of: 0.4 ml (dogs up to 4 kg) - 1.0 ml (dogs of 4-10 kg) - 2.5 ml (dogs of 10-25 kg) - 4.0 ml (dogs of 25-40 kg) - 6.0 ml (dogs of 40-60 kg).
