Characteristics and use of the product:

For the construction of the aquarium, the substrate is placed in a 1 cm thick layer at the bottom of the aquarium. In the table, measures are given for a number of standard variables and recommended quantities of substrate. Then add a minimum of 3-4 cm gravel above the substrate. The gravel acts as a barrier between the concentrated substrate and the water. When planting, the plants are placed in the gravel in the usual way, and the plants will quickly put new roots into the substrate. When planting, disturbance of the substrate should be minimised in order to avoid mixing clay and sphate particles in the water.
