Rapid tests for the determination of nitrate content in fresh / saltwater sauce and garden ponds determine the optimal nitrate value for perfect plant growth or as a possible cause of algae growth in fresh and saltwater.

Laboratory comparator system to compensate for water's own colour: fill the glass tubes with the water sample, add reagents in one tube, place both tubes in the holder and read the value on the color scale.
