In Denmark, all dogs in public must carry a dog sign with the owner's name and address.
This requirement applies to all dogs from 4 months of age.
The dog sign helps identify and return runaway dogs, and missing dog signs may result in fines.

The dog sign shall contain the following:

• Name of owner
• Full address of owner
• Maybe. telephone number

It's a good idea to include your phone number on the dog sign, but it's not a requirement.
It will make it easier for people to contact you directly if your dog should run away.
The more contact information, the greater the chance your dog can quickly return home.
