The lactic acid producing and intestinal flora stabilising bacterium Enterococcus faecium used in B & amp; B ProDigestVet passes untouched through the stomach and ensures a rapid colonisation of the intestinal system. This increases the number of beneficial micro-organisms and promotes the exclusion of potential pathogenic bacteria. Thanks to this, digestion is also improving.

Prebiotics are a kind of carbohydrate that is not absorbed into the small intestine and therefore reaches the large intestine undigested. They serve as nourishment for the intestinal bacteria present, resulting in growth of the beneficial bacteria (Lactobacilles and Bifidobacteria). ProDigestVet contains prebiotics characterised by a particularly high content of mannanoligosaccharides (MOS) and beta-glucans. In addition to the general pre-biotic effect, which is the stabilisation of the intestinal environment, the MOS possesses a high binding capacity of pathogenic bacteria. Therefore harmful bacteria can be prevented from sticking to the intestinal wall. In addition, beta-glucans have an immunostimulating effect.
