A very popular South American stem plant because of the beautiful fenced leaves. The stem grows very fast and can be 30-80 cm high and 5-8 cm wide. Suitable as an auxiliary plant for starting the aquarium. It is one of the least light-consuming of the Cabomba species, but it still causes problems in slightly illuminated aquariums.

If you do not have enough light, try with the less light-consuming Limnophila sessiliflora. You get the most beautiful result if you plant it in groups. The plant is eaten locally as a vegetable. A bundle of stems or young plants are assembled with a small anchor. Remove the anchor and share into individual plants. In the case of stem plants, leaves on the bottom 5 cm are removed from each stem and any damaged leaves. The individual plants are planted with appropriate distance in the ground layer. Roots will quickly form and the plant will grow.
