Eleocharis pusilla - In Vitro
Eleocharis pusilla is a fine and low-growing carpet plant which forms a dense and uniform ground cover even in small aquariums. It is even lower than Eleocharis parvula and is therefore particularly suitable for nanoaquariums or as a foreground plant in larger layouts. By dividing the plant into small portions and planting them with a little distance, it quickly spreads with short runners. It requires good light and CO2 to deliver optimally, but rewards the effort with a dense, fresh-green aquarium cover, which hardly requires cutting.
