Micranthemum tweediei 'Monte Carlo' comes from Argentina. The plant has tight-fitting, round and fresh light green leaves. The creeping stems quickly form the carpet in the foreground of the aquarium. Can grow in light shade under other plants, but requires good light conditions as well as the addition of CO2 to become really close. In order to preserve a bottom-covering carpet, the plant must be cut hard and often as the lower parts of the plant are otherwise choked.
